  6SS, G/90+30, must be 50 or over on July 21, 2023

• Registration

  Entry Fee: $95 online by January 17th midnight CT

  $140 online by June 1st, midnight CT;

  $160 online until July 10th midnight CT.

  $180 online untill July 21th midnight CT.

  All entries will be completed online.

• Dorms

• Ratings

  FIDE rated. June supplement used for US Chess ratings which are used for pairings and prizes.

• Prizes

  All plaques are awarded based on points and tie-breaks. (Modified Median, Solkoff, Cumulative, Cumulative of Opposition in Order.)

  $10,000 Guaranteed:

  $2000, $1,500; $1,000; $500;

  U2400: $450-$350;

  U2200: $400-$200;

  U2000: $400-$200;

  U1800: $400-$200;

  U1600: $400-$200;

  U1400: $400-$200;

  U1200: $400-$200;

  U1000: $400-$200;

  Unrated eligible for overall or U1200 prizes only.

  Plaque to top in each age group: 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+. Players may win both cash & age awards.

• Check-In

  There is no tournament check-in. Please verify your information online before the tournament.

• Rounds

  Fri 1:00pm & 6:00pm; Sat 9:00am & 2:30pm; Sun 8:30am & 2:30pm.

• Side Events

  Thu eve, GM Lecture, Dinner with Grandmasters and show, Saturday Blitz after R4. Blitz registration will be posted online separately. Free WiFi on campus. Caveman Chess Camp 7/16-21; adult-only camp sections available, see website for details.

• Sets

  Sets and Clocks: Caveman Chess provides sets, boards; please bring clocks. Please know how to set your clock for increment and how to add time to the clock in case of a time penalty. Print out instructions and carry them with you. See Setting http://pdxchess.org/wp-content/uploads/Setting-the-popular-digital-clocks-for-G90inc30.pdf . Also, check YouTube for videos of your clock and know how to add penalty time.
